Day 6 - Exploring Aperture...

I'm participating in a 12 week online photography course and the first week's assignment is "Exploring Aperture".  We were supposed to take three photos at different apertures to see how it changes the focus of your photo.  I had to do this at night - so the lighting wasn't great (all were shot at ISO 1600) - but I think you get the idea.

The first photo was shot at f/1.8 and 1/100.

The second was at f/8.0 and 1/4.

Finally... f/22.0 and 1.3.
